I admit I was quite skeptical about it.
Seeing is believing? I doubt it.
The first two nights Bill Subritzky was over here in KK for the revival meetings, he called out people who had certain ailments, particularly back pains. They came forward, were prayed for and were healed. I watched from the side the first night, and from the balcony the second night...was on duty as projectionist. Impressed. But couldn't wrap my mind around it yet.
Then flew to Tawau for the Faith Revival Conference. Part of me was - "oh no, he's going to repeat the same routine from the last 2 nights...", another part of me was eager and expectant.
He did repeat the same thing. Even the same songs.
And this went on for the many sessions and the rallies at night. People were called out. Prayed for. Most fainted on stage. Many were healed. Even demons were cast out and silenced.
Even those sitting or standing where they were experienced healing.
Did I feel anything? Hmm...not even goosebumps.
But you know what...despite my lack of physical reaction, my mind could embrace it all. Just as Bill Subritzky emphasized that it was the Holy Spirit working through him and all the healing and deliverance was not by his own strength or manipulation, I began to acknowledge the full works of the Holy Spirit. It wasn't just impressive anymore. It wasn't possible either. It was a certainty. A certainty that we, too, can heal and drive out demons in the name of Jesus Christ.
