Flowers

Something smelled different at the cathedral today.

It took me a while to realize...oh, it's the flowers.

[pause]

oh! the flowers are back!

Taken from the Stall of Projectionist =P...while the choir was having their regular Saturday practice.

FYI, for the past 40 days of Lent, there had been no flowers which usually decorates the front of the cathedral weekly, especially before the Sunday services.

Seeing these white petals and smelling their sweet fragrance, made me think of flowers blossoming at the start of spring and also a bible verse...

"The desert and the parched land will be glad;
the wilderness will rejoice and blossom.
Like the crocus*, it will burst into bloom;
it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy."
~Isaiah 35:1-2

And I was glad and rejoicing, because tomorrow's Easter. When Jesus, crucified and died; overcame and defeated my death, my sin and my shame, He took it all upon the cross and He rose again above it all.

Oh happy day~ happy day~
