FCC Promo Clip
Just want to share the latest promo clip for FCC.
I don't know who was involved in producing this, but I think they did a pretty good job =).

Wow, this is my first post for June and the month's almost over...
I'm currently busy with a new project with a two week deadline per episode for 52 episodes...so I barely have the weekends off now...maybe until March....o.O!! *Dear Lord, strengthen me and keep me sane~
But I give thanks to God for still being able to attend sharegroup and the last two churchwide prayer meetings as well as Sunday morning services. Really blessed and rejuvenated through those meetings and fellowship.
July is going to be more hectic because I'm taking 5 days leave on two separate weeks...3 days for XEE and 2 days for a family trip to KK. It's going to be grueling rushing to finish my workload before I take leave and then just as grueling when I return. Seriously praying I don't burn out and the team stabilizes with more people who can churn up good quality animation.

Last Friday morning, there was a lot of activity at the main block of my company.
There was also a lot of dust.
We had been briefed the previous day that there was to be a major reshuffle for several teams affecting quite a number of people to change places from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor, inside to outside rooms and vice versa. Fortunately for us who have been around for a year or more, this has become a regular event. Up to the point where I started thinking of it as more of a game and called it 'Musical Chairs'. One of our colleagues, Ruthie, has moved about 9 times before the end of her first year here! No one has yet to break her record =P.
Those who moved upstairs settled down sooner than those of us who moved downstairs, because we were busy adjusting the height of the tables to a more comfortable level that we were used to on the 2nd floor. No, we didn't move our tables along, but we did move our precious chairs.
We were pretty much done and settled by around 10am, and were getting acquainted with our new neighbors who were sitting next to us. And it was back to work as usual.
I did realize I had a view of my team leader's monitor screens from my sitting place. Thanks to the mirrors that were on the walls behind him.
His words to me via email --- "Stop spying!!!" --- LOL

First off,
Congratulations to Daniel & Erna!!! May you both honor each other and God together~~ =D
Attended their wedding and served as usher on 16th May at FCC. It was a short, sweet and simple wedding with mostly their close friends attending it. The luncheon was from the regular caterer, Banana Cafe.
Right after that, I changed out of my dress into my jeans and tee shirt and rushed to catch the lrt to PWTC for the National Career Fair.
No, I didn't go there to be recruited by other companies. In fact, I was recruiting people to my company!
Throughout Saturday and Sunday noon till evening, I was basically handing out leaflets to interested candidates and also every other person that was passing by including underage kids. Yes, kids! ...actually they're just attracted to the leaflets that we were handing out.
I admit I wasn't really looking forward to helping out at the Career Fair initially. I was hoping to get some well needed rest during the weekend. But I must say I don't have any regrets spending my time there eventhough I'm now super exhausted, my feet are aching and still lacking of sleep (i know, i know, i should be sleeping rather than typing this entry =P).
It was a good experience and something out of my work-related comfort zone.
I met a few interesting people during my two day shift there.
Kashmir (sorry, not sure if I got the spelling right) who was part of the events organizers who has an interest in drawing but only as a hobby, and now enjoys travelling and meeting new people in his line of work.
Shaiful, whom I bumped into while I was looking for the exit from the fair to the lrt station. He's currently a Consumer Lending Specialist. We chatted and shared about our own experiences in our workplaces while walking to the lrt station. He came again the next day with his friend, Hafiz, whom I was briefly introduced to.
Ganesh, our next door booth neighbour, which I must embarassly admit I didn't even remember the name of the company. But it's IT related. He helped us take a picture with Jennifer's (my colleague) camera.
Yap, Sin Yap, Zeen, fellow animators from Animasia Studio (except for Sin Yap who's in the Marketing department). It was good being able to share some common opinions about the candidates who were interested to apply to our line of industry, and also to learn first-hand about their company.
It was an exhausting yet enjoyable weekend.
Me, Linda and Jennifer on Sunday at Inspidea's booth, with Edward's Osiana poster as a backdrop again.

Didn't have much to share about anything. Just decided to scan and upload some rough sketches I did many weeks back at the office. Exploring and experimenting on some kampung houses.
Currently busy helping out another team with a Flash project by an Australian company.
Probably till the end of May or early June. Then I'll be moved to another team doing another project. I'll share with you some interesting stuff about that later on once it's started.
Till then, Happy Labour's Day, yo!

Went to a colleague's baptism at Calvary Church, Damansara Heights today.
A few other colleagues and a former colleague went as well.
It was a blessing to see a colleague getting baptized into the family of Christ.
Even more of a blessing that we gathered this evening, even though we were all from different churches, but we were all together as brothers and sisters in the same family of Christ.
Congratz, Julius! We welcome you! =D

"But He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed."
~Isaiah 53:5
Yesterday was Good Friday.
More than 2000 years ago on that day, Jesus was crucified.
His hands and feet were pierced.
Nailed on the cross.
For us.
For our sins.
